WolfDogs and Sugar Substitute
Veterinarians have warned that a commonly used sugar sweetener might cause liver failure in dogs, and perhaps even kill them. According to a report in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association there is evidence the sugar substitute Xylitol can make dogs sick, and possibly cause liver failure. The sugar replacement Xylitol, a naturally occurring substance, is found in many sugar-free chewing gums, candies, baked goods and toothpastes.
The report gathered information on eight dogs treated between 2003 and 2005 after eating products containing Xylitol. Each dog became ill, and five died or had to be put down because of liver failure, possibly from ingesting Xylitol. One animal which had to be euthanized had eaten four large, chocolate-frosted muffins containing about 1 pound (0.45 kg) of xylitol.
People should be aware of this: dogs, especially wolf dogs, ingesting just small amounts of Xylitol can trigger significant insulin release, which drops their blood sugar and can be fatal. A 22-pound (10-kg) dog that consumes just one gram (0.03 ounces) of Xylitol could be in danger of liver failure.
Look folks, never give your wolf dog sweets of any kind! They simply don't need them.
Wolves in the wild only eat meat that is protein! The same goes for wolf dogs. Only feed them high protein dog food like I mentioned in my ebook and raw meat like chicken. Use Pet Tabs for vitamins and minerals and that's all they need.
In addition, I've heard that some people are feeding their pets chopped carrots and cooked carrots. How many wolfdogs and regular dogs have you seen digging up carrots and eating them? None! Wolfdogs and dogs do not and should not eat carrots.
Carrots are very high in sugar. They rank high on the Glycemic Index that ranks carbohydrate-rich foods based on sugar content.
Do you want to make your wolfdog pet fat and chubby?
Be kind to your wolf hybrid and give it only what they need which is protein in the form of raw meat.

If you have birds in addition to a pet cat you will have to be extra careful. This means higher bird houses and abundant bird supplies. With puppies you don’t have to worry so much though.
